Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has announced the appointment of Katie McGrath as Head of Accident & Health (A&H) for North America, effective June 10.
Based in Windsor, Connecticut, she will be responsible for A&H strategy, underwriting, marketing, claims and operations in the region.
McGrath joins Swiss Re Corporate Solutions from AIG, where she has spent the previous nine years, most recently as Head of Specialty and Sponsor Solutions, based in Philadelphia.
She has 25 years’ experience in the re/insurance industry, and has held numerous leadership positions on increasing responsibility within the A&H space.
In her new role, McGrath succeeds Mike Kemp, who is due to retire and will work with McGrath to ensure a smooth transition process.

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions serves the A&H sector by providing financial protection from a range of risks in the area of employer stop-loss insurance.
