The Ardonagh Group announces changes to senior management team for 2024

Independent insurance broker The Ardonagh Group has announced a number of changes to its senior management team for 2024, appointing Conor Brennan as Executive Chairman of Ardonagh International.

The Ardonagh GroupIn his new role, Brennan – who previously led Ardonagh Europe – will be tasked with bringing entities previously part of Ardonagh Europe and Ardonagh Global Partners into one platform supported by one leadership team.

He will be joined by Des O’Connor, previously Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ardonagh Global Partners, in the new role of Chief Investment Officer International.

They will be supported by John McCarthy as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) International, who has transitioned his Arachas CFO responsibilities to Martin Mohan.

In Ireland, Joey Wynne the current Deputy CEO of Arachas, a specialist corporate broker which joined Ardonagh in 2020, will step into the Arachas take over the role of CEO.

This move is in line with a longstanding succession plan and it is subject to regulatory approval, Ardonagh noted.

Antony Erotocritou will take on the role of Group Chief Commercial Officer, working with Chief Executive David Ross, CFO Diane Cougill and CIO Aurelio Cusaro, on corporate and financial transactions.

Finally, Andrew Wallin, previously Group Head of M&A, was appointed CEO of Specialty Broking, also subject to regulatory approval.
