The Baldwin Group, formerly known as BRP Group, has announced the appointment of three new executives to lead the MGA and non-MGA segments within the company’s Underwriting, Capacity, and Technology Solutions (UCTS) Operating Group as it continues to grow.

Firstly, Amy Carlisle has been named President of MGA Solutions at Millennial Specialty Insurance (MSI), an indirect subsidiary of The Baldwin Group.

In her new role, she will continue to report to Jim Roche, President of The Baldwin Group and CEO of UCTS. Carlisle will oversee the MGA organisation, focusing on expansion into new MGA businesses while maintaining underwriting discipline and exposure management.

Carlisle joined MSI in 2022 as Head of Insurance Product Management, overseeing the MGA insurance product suite and actuarial function. Before that, she spent 15 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she was the National Communications & Programming Co-Chair for the Able@Liberty Employee Resource Group.

Austin Rock has been appointed President of Capacity Solutions at The Baldwin Group, also reporting to Roche.

In his new role, he will manage UCTS’s growing non-MGA, capacity-focused businesses, including the reinsurance broking platform Juniper Re, LLC, and the company’s captive management practice. He will also optimise relationships with insurance and reinsurance carrier partners.

Rock has been with The Baldwin Group for four years, previously serving as Director of Strategy & Partnerships. Prior to that, he worked at J.P. Morgan as an Equity Capital Markets Associate.

Furthermore, Ryan Fauls joins as Chief Technology Officer of UCTS, where he will be responsible for developing and implementing UCTS’ technology strategy. He will oversee all aspects of engineering, digital products, and technological innovations and operations to help drive UCTS’s growth.

Fauls brings two decades of experience, previously working at PYYNE Digital as a Consultant and holding senior roles such as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer at various firms including FIDx, Ovation Corporate Travel, World Travel, and eMoney Advisor.

Roche expressed enthusiasm for these appointments, stating, “With the appointment of these key leadership roles, we are strategically positioning ourselves to drive innovation and growth through the next chapter of our expansion.”

He added, “We are confident that their visionary leadership and extensive experience will ensure that we continue to thrive and achieve our ambitious goals, while remaining a client-driven, entrepreneurial organisation.”
