The Fidelis Partnership, a specialty insurance group focused on underwriting and investment management, has announced the appointment of Marcus Taylor as Head of Strategic Relationships.
Taylor joins from Aon, where he was a reinsurance broker within the Global ReSpecialty division. He brings more than 25 years of experience spanning the US, UK and APAC reinsurance markets.
He previously served as Executive Manager, International Reinsurance at IAG, a role that included leading its reinsurance operations in Singapore and Malaysia as CEO.
Earlier in his career, he held a number of positions within Aon’s Reinsurance business across Chicago, London and Australia. Prior to rejoining Aon in 2020, Taylor was Head of Reinsurance (Asia Pacific) at Ed Broking, now part of The Ardonagh Group.
At TFP, Taylor will partner closely with Richard Coulson, Group President – Strategic Partnerships, to help deliver the firm’s broker strategy, with a focus on strengthening core strategic relationships.
He will also contribute to the development of TFP’s high-growth markets strategy, working across both TFP and its MGAs on the Pine Walk platform to enhance engagement between underwriters and external distribution partners across regions including Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.

Taylor takes up the role with immediate effect. He is based in London and reports to Richard Coulson.
