US insurance brokerage TIH has appointed Jim Odell as General Counsel, based at the firm’s headquarters in Charlotte, effective immediately.
Odell brings over three decades of proven financial leadership experience in both general counsel roles and private practice.
Most recently, he served as General Counsel and interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Momentum Financial Services Group, a multinational private equity portfolio company.
Odell has tremendous C-suite experience including general counsel roles at UBS AG and Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment Bank.
Prior to this, Odell led finance and capital markets practice groups at some of the nation’s leading law firms.
Focusing on mergers and acquisitions, including numerous leveraged buyouts and reverse LBOs, corporate finance, and financial services and banking regulation.
His experience spans a variety of industry sectors, including financial sponsors, technology, media and telecom, financial services, insurance, and healthcare.
