Howden Tiger has announced that Tim Radford has joined as Executive Director, Capital Solutions.
Radford joins Howden Tiger from Aon, where he was a Broker within the Capital Advisory team, specialising in Funds at Lloyd’s where he led and was involved with Syndicate launches and capital raises across the market.
Before Aon, Radford held roles at Securis Investment Partners and Swiss Re in the non-life and life ILS sectors as well as the traditional reinsurance market.
In his new role as Executive Director, Capital Solutions, Radford will report to Vijay Mavani, Managing Director, Capital Solutions.

In related news, Howden Tiger released a report last month noting that after experiencing a significant capital impairment in 2022, re/insurance capital is “slowly returning to its previous levels,” and as reinsurers continue to benefit from hard market conditions, “the sector should exceed its cost of capital for the first time in this cycle.”
