Topsail Re, a Cayman islands based reinsurer has promoted Eric Hubicki to Senior Vice President, Underwriting Manager.
Since joining the firm in 2020 as SVP, Hubicki has been an integral part of the company, specialising in reinsurance marketing, underwriting and account management.
Before he joined Topsail Re, Hubicki spent just under eight years working at Arch Reinsurance – the reinsurance arm of Arch Capital – as Director, Treaty. Within this role, he managed the firm’s Chicago office portfolio.
Prior to joining Arch Reinsurance, he also spent just under four years serving as Vice President at BMS Intermediaries between late 2008 – to late 2012.
In addition, Hubicki also previously served as Munich Re America’s Vice President during his five year tenure with the firm between 2003 – 2008.
Elsewhere, Topsail Re recently appointed RobLee Womack, Jr. as its new Senior Vice President of Underwriting.
In April, Topsail Re also appointed Daniel Turgel as Vice President of Underwriting.
