Trium Cyber appoints David Rock as Chief Claims Officer

Trium Cyber, a Lloyd’s of London cyber insurance specialist, has hired David Rock as Chief Claims Officer of its US based services company.

Both Rock and the Trium management team are based in the US, where they are focused on servicing the US market.

In the role, Rock will directly oversee Trium Cyber’s claims practice, guiding clients in working through complex first and third-party matters.

Rock joins Trium from Allied World, a global provider of re/insurance solutions,. In his recent role at the firm he served as North American Head of Cyber and E&O Claims.

In addition to creating and managing Allied World’s cyber response practice, Rock also had broad oversight for all professional lines claims.

Furthermore, Rock is also a member of the NetDiligence-Cyber Claims Advisory Group, Claims Litigation Management (CLM), the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (CIPP/US).

Addressing his new role, Rock said: “I’m honored to join Trium as its Chief Claims Officer. I look forward to creating an advanced claims platform with an emphasis on real-time loss mitigation. Trium is entering the market at a time when fresh capacity and new approaches are needed. Our proprietary underwriting, risk-management, and loss mitigation strategies will set us apart from our peers.”
