Lloyd’s cyber syndicate Trium Cyber has announced the appointment Jeffrey Batt as Head of Product.
He joins from AmTrust Financial Services where he served as Head of Cyber Strategy.
Batt also previously served as Cyber Insurance Practice Leader at M&T Bank where he worked closely with clients to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Additionally, at Marsh & McLennan he was a Vice President specializing in privacy regulatory risk.
“Jeffrey’s combination of insurance and cybersecurity experience brings a unique set of skills of particular value to large, complex risks,” said Trium Cyber CEO Josh Ladeau. “He is a widely acknowledged expert and author on cyber underwriting, security strategy, and product innovation.”
As Head of Product at Trium, Mr. Batt will focus on underwriting capability, distribution and product development.

Before entering private industry, Batt served as Associate Deputy General Counsel to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, providing legal counsel to senior leadership on national security matters.
