Tysers hires senior brokers to expand MEA and Asia operations

Specialist insurance broker Tysers has hired Jayees Ibrahim and Elias Nohra in Dubai to expand its Property & Casualty, Construction and Engineering services to clients in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) and Asia.

technologyIbrahim joins Tysers from Aon Re, where he reportedly placed complex risks for clients in MEA and Asia in the Energy, Property and Construction sectors.

Tysers explained that Ibrahim also brings local market knowledge to the firm and will work with the Dubai and International teams to further strengthen its client offerings across the region.

Meanwhile, Nohra is described as a highly skilled technical expert with in-depth industry and local market knowledge.

Tysers added that Nohra has “an impressive reputation for developing innovative, comprehensive solutions for Engineering and Construction risks for clients in the Middle East.”

In the new role, Nohra will leverage the strength and international reach of the firm to access leading insurers in the Singapore, Lloyd’s and London markets when designing and placing risks.
