Vantage Group Holdings Ltd., which launched ahead of the January 1st, 2021, reinsurance renewals as a Bermudian specialty insurer and reinsurer, has welcomed a number of new colleagues to its ranks at the start of 2022.
Established and led by industry veterans Dinos Iordanou as Non-Executive Chairman and Greg Hendrick as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Vantage had a busy first year with appointments, launches and acquisitions, as well as the issuance of its first catastrophe bond.
To start the new year, the specialty re/insurer has announced a number of new additions to the team, including Jay Opat as Vice President (VP), Healthcare.
Opat joins the firm from Aspen Insurance Group where he spent more than five years, having previously worked at insurer Zurich in the U.S. for more than 11 years.
Vantage has also hired David Mancuso, who joins from ProSight Specialty Insurance, and Dimitry Ridlovsky as Technical Lead.
David Robinson joins the re/insurer as a Data Scientist, and Diamond Binns, previously of RenaissanceRe, joins as an Underwriting Assistant.
Additionally, Noemi Davila has joined Vantage as a Claims Analyst, and Rich Hartman, formerly of Ambridge Partners, Brit, Arch and Zurich, joins the company as VP, Underwriting – Construction.
