Vantage Group Holdings has promoted Denise Watkins to Head of Excess Casualty and Bermuda Healthcare, pending Bermuda immigration approval.
In the new role, Watkins is tasked with leading Vantage’s businesses across U.S. Excess Casualty and Bermuda Excess Casualty and Healthcare.
Vantage states that Watkins will oversee the team’s success through the enhancement of its business and distribution strategies.
She will also be responsible for the expansion of the business units and their profitable portfolio management.
Watkins holds two and a half decades of industry experience, having previously served in senior positions at Sompo International as well as various leadership roles at AIG and Travelers.
Alex Blanco, Vantage’s Chief Officer of Insurance, and to whom Watkins will report, said, “Denise is taking on this important new role to generate greater value for our brokers and clients as they navigate an increasingly complex risk environment.
