Venbrook bolsters E&S portfolio with acquisition of Alpharetta Underwriters

Venbrook Group, LLC, a large independent insurance distribution and services firm in the U.S., has acquired Georgia-based specialty managing general agent (MGA), Alpharetta Underwriters, LLC.

handshake-bwFrom its headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia, the MGA provides tailored Excess & Surplus (E&S) solutions to the construction space.

Alpharetta’s team has more than 70 years of combined industry underwriting experience and has established itself as a best-in-class solutions provider in the E&S marketplace specialising in construction risks.

For Venbrook, the acquisition of Alpharetta will strengthen its expanding portfolio of E&S programmes, which already includes MGAs such as ComStar General Insurance Solutions and REAPA, and Cardigan General.
