VIG Re restructures management responsibilities in efficiency drive

Reinsurer VIG Re has restructured its management responsibilities in a drive to realign its organisational structure and drive efficiencies.

VIG Re logoDušan Bogdanović has been appointed to head up a new unit, Foreign Operations, coordinating operations in the current and newly planned branch offices and the subsidiary of the company.

In his new role he will also lead administrative and analytical support of underwriting entities for the establishment of a new Belgrade-based service company.

Bogdanović will step down from his current position as member of the Board of Directors to focus on his new roles.

With effect from 1st April, 2018, the Board of Directors will consist of Johannes Martin Hartmann (Chairman), Ivana Jurčíková and Tomasz Rowicki.

VIG Re also announced that Patrick Chevrel, Head of Western Europe, will take over market responsibility for Italy, in addition to his responsibilities for France, Belgium and Luxembourg.

In addition, Olaf Dietrich, Head of Non-Life Underwriting, will assume responsibility for the Accident & Health line of business in addition to the Property & Casualty business assumed by the Company.
