Reinsurance broker Vista Reinsurance Intermediaries announced Vice President Ashley Mims’ promotion to Senior Vice President today.
Mims first joined the company as Vice President and Reinsurance Broker in 2014, bringing more than 20 years of experience in financial analytics, client relationship management and new business development within the reinsurance industry.
Philip C. Cawley, President & CEO of Vista Re, said; “Ashley brings great depth in the production, design and marketing of reinsurance mechanisms.
“He is highly skilled in assisting clients with understanding their exposure to risk and developing mechanisms for actively improving their profitability.”
Mims started as a reinsurance treaty underwriter in New York with Constitution Reinsurance Company in 1994, he went on to work for U.S. RE Corporation for 15 years and was Vice President at Towers Watson in Atlanta prior to joining Vista Re.
