Cassandra Vrchota has been appointed Director – Reinsurance Property Underwriting at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies.
The property casualty insurer markets business, home and auto insurance products through a select group of independent insurance agencies in 46 US states and the District of Columbia.
Vrchota brings to her new role seventeen years of industry experience. Prior to her new role, she was Director – Reinsurance Catastrophe Analytics at Cincinnati, a role she held for almost three years after she joined the company in 2020.
Before Cincinnati, Vrchota served at Aon for over twelve years. She held a number of senior positions since she joined the re/insurance broker in 2008 as a Senior Analysts.
She was then appointed associate Director, Director, and ended her time at Aon after almost three years as Managing Director.
The Cincinnati Insurance Companies has also expanded its reinsurances division, Cincinnati Re, with the appointment of Ryan Chefalas as Director, Specialty Reinsurance. Chefalas joined the compony in April after a near four-year term at OdysseyRe
