Weston Property & Casualty Insurance Company launches

In a reflection of the evolution of the Weston group of companies, Weston Insurance Company (WIC) and Weston Specialty Insurance Company (WSIC) have merged to form Weston Property & Casualty Insurance Company (WPCIC).

weston-insurance-logoBased in Florida, WPCIC has a specialist focus in providing insurance against protection for losses from natural catastrophes to personal and commercial residential and non-residential properties.

Currently, Weston is licensed to provide services in 14 states and currently operates in Florida, Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Demotech has assigned the newly formed carrier a Financial Stability Rating of A, Exceptional. This is the same rating Demotech had applied to both WIC and WSIC.

The Weston group of companies have operated as Weston Insurance since 2012. The carrier’s renewed corporate vision has a focus on expanding its coastal offerings in current states as well as into other coastal states.

Following the merger, the former WIC windstorm business and suite of WSIC products are now being offered by WPCIC.
