Ironshore International has announced the appointment of William Lewis as Managing Director of Ironshore Australia Pty Limited, responsible for leading its multi-line insurance offerings across Australia and New Zealand.
Lewis will based in the firm’s Sydney office and reports to Managing Director, Ironshore Asia Pacific, Hui Yun Boo.
Hui Yun Boo, commented on the appointment; “We are pleased to announce that William will assume the role of leading our multi-line insurance offerings throughout the Australia and New Zealand markets. His proven expertise and recognized leadership in structuring insurance coverage solutions for complex risks have made him a valuable member of our regional team.”
It’s interesting that in his new role Lewis will be responsible for the firm’s entire insurance offerings across Australia and New Zealand, with his time at Ironshore previously being focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) across the Asia Pacific region.
Lewis, a private equity attorney and specialist, joined Ironshore in 2012 as a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager based in Sydney, Australia, before being promoted to Head of the specialty business lines division in 2016.
