Global brokerage firm WTW has announced the appointment of Deesha Doshi as an Executive Director of its Credit & Political Risk practice in Singapore.
Doshi holds almost two decades of banking experience, having served at firms such as Westpac, JP Morgan and ABN AMRO in Singapore, Mumbai and London.
Doshi also has extensive knowledge of Loan Market Syndication, Sustainable Financing and Trade Finance.
WTW states that she will provide companies with unique client insight, combined with her first-hand experience of working closely with deal teams to better explain and expand the use of credit risk insurance as an important unfunded risk distribution tool.
Doshi has operated in several different asset classes including Corporate Loans, Structured Commodity Finance, Aviation Finance and Secured Asset Finance.
In addition, she is the Singapore Lead of the Women in Loan Markets Committee at the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA) and was previously chairperson of the Singapore Young Leaders Committee.
