Global insurance and reinsurance broker WTW has appointed Lisa Coomey as Senior Director and Head of Exposure Management within its Insurance Consulting and Technology business.
In her new role, Coomey will support insurers in strengthening exposure management capabilities and applying catastrophe risk insights to strategic decision-making, portfolio management, business transformation, and emerging risk challenges.
She has over two decades of experience across insurers, reinsurers, brokers, Lloyd’s market participants, and financial regulation.
Most recently, Coomey was with the Bank of England, where she contributed to the supervision of major insurance firms across areas including stress testing, climate risk, emerging risks, and Section 166-related activity.
She took a career break recently, during which she mentored technology start-ups through the Accenture FinTech Innovation Lab, reflecting a strong interest in innovation and InsurTech.
Coomey commented, “I’m excited to be joining WTW’s Insurance Consulting and Technology team and returning to industry after my time at the Bank of England.
“Having worked across both industry and regulation, I look forward to building on the team’s strong foundation in Exposure Management and helping clients navigate an increasingly complex risk landscape through practical solutions, market insight, and deep industry experience.”
