Insurance and reinsurance broker WTW has added Christian Ryan to its North America Corporate Risk & Broking division as Industry Specialties Leader.
WTW states that Ryan, whose career has focused solely on industry specialisation and expertise, brings a depth of understanding around the genuine value this approach offers clients.
He previously worked at WTW as a producer from 2005 through 2014, before leaving the firm for Marsh, where he served as Managing Director and U.S. Leader for the Hospitality, Sports, and Entertainment practice until 2020.
Ryan then assumed the role of Dallas Office Head and South Central Zone Risk Segment Leader until 2022, when he rejoined WTW in his latest role on September 6th.
In his new role, Ryan will report to Mike Liss, North America Leader of CRB. According to WTW, the appointment brings a level of specialty focus that has been a common thread throughout his career and will accelerate the execution of the firm’s North America strategy.
“Christian brings a wealth of industry experience and relationships back to WTW, and he will hit the ground with momentum as our industry divisions continue to deepen their industry specialization,” said Liss.
