Insurer and reinsurer XL Catlin has named James Tuplin Head of Cyber & Technology, Media and Telecoms, International, based in the firm’s London office.
In his new role Tuplin will be responsible for the underwriting of cyber insurance and professional indemnity insurance for the technology and media sectors.
Tuplin has roughly 15 years of industry experience and joins XL Catlin from QBE where he held the position of Cyber & TMT Portfolio Manager, with a responsibility for Europe. He has previously held positions at Allianz Insurance PLC and Zurich Global Corporate.
