Zurich adds Ping An to network of insurance providers

Zurich Insurance Group has added Ping An Health, a technology-driven health insurance company, to its Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions, which provides risk management and financing solutions for the global employee benefit plans of multinationals.

Zurich LogoThe solutions include the group’s own offering and those of selected leading insurers in geographies and lines of business not covered by Zurich.

In addition, customers with captive solutions will be able to reinsure employee benefits for their China-based employees, allowing them to design and underwrite their plans more flexibly and to optimise their insurance cost structure.

Rob Brown, Head of Network Partner Management at Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions commented: “Working with Ping An Health will expand our network in China and enable Zurich to provide customers with a broader choice for premier medical insurance coverage for their employees in this important market.

“As a market leader in China, Ping An Health brings important product innovation and market know-how to our network and Zurich’s customers will benefit from its broad healthcare ecosystem.”
