Zurich Insurance Group has appointed Graham Wood to the newly created role of Head of Regional Business Development for Accident & Health (A&H).
Wood joins Zurich from Chubb, where he most recently served as A&H Business Development Manager for the North & Scotland regions.
He brings a wealth of A&H experience to his new leadership role, having previously worked in this sector at companies such as Legal & General, Cigna/Ace Insurance and Independent Insurance.
Going forward, Wood will report to Stephen Moss, Head of Specialty Lines, Commercial Insurance UK at Zurich, who commented: “Graham is highly respected in the market and I’m extremely pleased to see him join our team.
“This is an important hire for Zurich and reflective of our strategic ambitions to invest and expand our regional A&H capabilities as part of the broader Specialties portfolio.”
Moss continued: “It’s a newly created role so the building and maintaining of client relationships, constant analysis of customer needs and the ongoing assessment of evolving risk will be of paramount importance.
