Large primary carrier Zurich Insurance Group has appointed Wayne Leow as Head of Commercial Insurance for Malaysia, tasked with leading the Commercial Insurance function, spearheading growth across multiple lines of business, and distribution channels in Malaysia.
Leow has more the 17 years of industry experience, having served in senior positions at Chubb, Aon, and MSIG Insurance.
Most recently, Leow served at Chubb Malaysia as Chief Broking & Large Corporate Officer, driving business growth across the region.
In his new role, he will report to Junior Cho, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Malaysia, Zurich, and matrix into Liam Burrell, CEO of Singapore and Head of Commercial Insurance, Asia.
Cho commented on the appointment, “Wayne’s deep market knowledge and proven ability to build high performing teams and scale commercial relationships will be instrumental in strengthening our position in commercial insurance.
