Financial technology and insurance company Acrisure has appointed David Bruce as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Networks & Chief Operating Officer UK Retail.
Bruce arrives from Marsh, where he has served as CEO for the broker’s commercial arm since 2021.
He joined Marsh Commercial in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer and has held a number of senior broking and underwriting roles in his more than 30-year career.
Before joining Marsh, Bruce served as Chief Executive of Commercial Underwriting at Towergate Insurance, and was also previously CEO of insurance intermediary Cullum Capital Ventures, and Director of Distribution, Partnerships, at Aviva
Bruce commented that he was “happy to share” the news of his appointment.
Acrisure has been actively building out its leadership team in recent months, with a number of fresh appointments made in December of last year and Mathias Pahl having been tasked to lead a new subsidiary for the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets.
Meanwhile, within its reinsurance unit, Acrisure Re, Jennifer D’Arcy has been named as as Executive Vice President of the Facultative Reinsurance division and Chris Jones as Head of Marine & Space.
