Acrisure Re, the reinsurance division of global insurance broker Acrisure, has appointed Chris Jones as Head of Marine and Space.
An experienced veteran within the industry, Jones joins Acrisure Re from Ed Broking, where he previously held the role of Managing Director Marine R/I.
Moreover, in February, Acrisure launched a new subsidiary covering the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets, led by Mathias Pahl, who joined the firm from WTW.
In January, Acrisure Re announced that its facultative team is set to expand into the Polish market via a preferred partnership broker agreement with Smartt Re – a leading reinsurance broker in Poland.
Meanwhile, Acrisure recently announced that it had acquired Affinity Brokers Limited, with the transaction still pending FCA regulatory approvals.
