Lloyd’s managing agency AEGIS London has announced the appointment of Gregory E. Abel and Thomas F. Farrell to its board as Non-Executive Directors.
Abel currently serves as Vice Chairman of Non-Insurance Operations at Berkshire Hathaway and Executive Chairman at Berkshire Hathaway Energy, having joined the firm in 1992. He holds holds a variety of board positions including with AEGIS London’s U.S. parent AEGIS Insurance Services and the Kraft Heinz Company,
Farrell II is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Virginia-based Dominion Energy, one of the largest producers and transporters of energy in the United States. He joined the firm 16 years’ ago and has served as CEO since 2013. Farrell holds a number of board positions including with AEGIS Insurance Services and is the Presiding Director of Altria Group.
