Canadian SMEs will now be able to buy affordable property cover through an enhanced extension to AEGIS London’s existing digital E&O package.
Lloyd’s insurer AEGIS London’s existing digital E&O package offering has been made affordable for smaller businesses in Canada. The package offers property, contents and business interruption protection.
AEGIS London has been providing a property extension to its E&O package product since 2019, but a new lower-priced cover level makes it available to bring it within the range of SMEs.
Chris Fitzgerald, Property Class Underwriter commented, “Our Canadian coverholders tell us there’s a real need in the market for high-quality commercial property and contents cover for smaller organisations. We’ve listened to their feedback and used it to build a new cover level tailored to SMEs’ budgets.
“This is a tough time for small businesses in Canada. With that in mind, we’re also building in more bespoke features to our range of property extensions and some higher coverage extension limits for clients who want them.”
The extension offers competitively priced business interruption, contents and tenants improvements cover as well as optional covers for sewer back-up, water damage, flood and earthquake; boiler & machinery and crime.
Prior to adding this Property Extension, extensions were also included on the product for Commercial General Liability, D&O and first-party Cyber breach.
