AFL adds Sarah Stephen as head of binding authorities

Independent Lloyd’s broker AFL Insurance Brokers has announced the appointment of Sarah Stephen as head of binding authorities.

Sarah-Stephen-scaledShe brings over 25 years’ experience to the role and most recently served as senior client manager for Munich Re’s Hartford Steam Boiler.

Before that, Stephen spent 10 years as underwriting manager for two Lloyd’s syndicates underwriting global specialty casualty binders and facilities.

She also has 12 years’ experience underwriting property and casualty business within the UK and international markets.

“We are delighted to have attracted a senior insurance professional of Sarah’s calibre and experience to our growing team,” said AFL Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Bines.
