Independent Lloyd’s broker AFL Insurance Brokers Ltd has announced the appointment of Kevin White as head of its Professional Indemnity division.
He arrives from Ed., where he served as Director of Professional Risks and was responsible for handling all insurance requirements for large offshore law firms and trust companies.
White began his insurance career Alwen Hough Johnson Limited in 2002 as a broker before moving onto Endeavour Insurance Services as a Professional Risks Broker, responsible for an international client base.
He then joined the senior management at Safeonline LLP, where he helped grow the company’s North American portfolio before joining Ed. in May 2014.
Over his career, White has specialised in developing bespoke programs for clients, including comprehensive cyber and asset protection cover.
“It’s a real pleasure to be starting 2020 by announcing Kevin’s appointment – we are delighted to be welcoming him to the team,” said AFL CEO Jonathan Bines.
Kevin has specialised in the placement of professional risks for a wide range of professions throughout North America, Canada and the Caribbean for over 18 years, placing specialist lines of business and tailoring bespoke programmes for clients,” Bines continued.
