Arch Insurance International has announced the appointment of Alex Clark as Senior Underwriter for Healthcare, with immediate effect.
In this role, Clark will focus on providing underwriting solutions for large hospitals and health systems, which form a core part of Arch’s London Market healthcare insurance portfolio.
Based in London, he will report to James Barrett, Head of Healthcare.
Clark joins Arch from Lloyd’s broker Tysers, where he was an Associate Director in their London Healthcare team.
Prior to joining Tysers, he worked at Guy Carpenter, JLT Group and Benfield Group.

“Alex’s significant broking experience and healthcare expertise will help further bolster our ability to better serve our brokers and clients, based on a thorough understanding of their needs.”
Arch’s London Market Healthcare Insurance team offers lead or excess layer solutions across a range of areas including hospital professional liability, physician professional liability, general liability and umbrella liability.
Coverage is provided primarily for clients domiciled in the US, including national and regional health systems, stand-alone hospitals, paediatric hospitals, long-term care facilities, and physician groups.
