Chubb, a global property and casualty insurance company, has appointed Lisa Wilson as Head of North America Claims, Jamie Trish as Global Claims Operations Officer, and Norm Rafsol as Global Claims Technical Director, within its Global Claims team.
The trio will report to Kevin Rampe, Senior Vice President, Global Claims Officer, Chubb.
In her new role, Wilson will oversee all aspects of North America Commercial and Personal Lines claims and services, effective immediately. She will lead claim handling, technical execution, and further embed digital capabilities into claims processes.
She will also report to Juan Luis Ortega, Executive Vice President, President North America Insurance, Chubb. She joined Chubb in 2023, and most recently served as Deputy Head of North America Claims.
In the past, Wilson served as Head of Coverage and Complex Claims and Division President of Brandywine Holdings, overseeing the firm’s legacy and runoff claims organisation.
Rampe commented on the appointment, “Lisa has been instrumental in providing a best-in-class claim experience to North America clients and partners. She has a proven track record leading teams with service and technical distinction, and I am confident her leadership will help us expand upon Chubb’s legacy of claims excellence.”
Trish, in her new role, is responsible for the Global Claims operational infrastructure. Her appointment is effective 26 October, and she will define operational priorities, service standards, and operating models, while overseeing claim centers, vendor management, and global customer experience.
Trish joined Chubb in 2024 as Claims Transformation Officer, then served as the frim’s Global Transformation Officer. Before this, she was President of Fairmatic (now LEEO) and held several senior leadership roles at Allstate Business Insurance and Liberty Mutual.
Rampe added, “Jamie brings expertise in operations and execution to our Global Claims team. She will strengthen our operational capabilities across our footprint to ensure Chubb Claims is positioned to deliver consistent, superior outcomes at scale.”
Rafsol’s role is effective immediately, and he will be responsible for working across the insurer’s claims organisation to strengthen global framework for reporting and monitoring material claims, claim trends, developments, and emerging exposures. He will also provide technical oversight of Chubb’s world-class standards for complex and high-severity claims globally.
Rafsol joined Chubb in 2007 as Senior Vice President, Professional Liability Underwriting, and most recently was the Head of Financial Lines, Cyber Claims and Claims Segmentation, overseeing Canada and Bermuda Claims.
