Alexander van Kuffeler named CCO of Howden CAP

International broker, Howden has appointed Alexander van Kuffeler as Chief Commercial Officer of Howden CAP.

howden-group-logoIn a press release, Howden stated that van Kuffeler’s role will be to hone the value proposition for Howden CAP, and support its delivery of unique and innovative advice and solutions and forge relationships with key clients and markets.

At the same time, van Kuffeler’s appointment underlines the ongoing growth of the division as it becomes the insurance advisor and structurer of choice for banks, private equity firms and asset managers.

Moreover, Howden CAP advises its clients on the complex need for insurance and capital solutions to further help businesses grow and to optimise capital and achieve strategic goals.

Van Kuffeler joins Howden CAP from Marsh, where he served as a Client Director in the compnay’s Private Equity and M&A Practice, advising on risk transfer solutions for complex M&A transactions.

Prior to Marsh, he worked at WTW for 13 years, where he was Executive Director in Political Risk and Structured Credit insurance team. Latterly, he was a Senior Client Executive in the Global Solutions Group with a focus on structuring M&A solutions for Private Capital investments in Infrastructure and Real Assets, as well as managing lenders’ insurance requirements for such transactions.
