Allianz Commercial has recently appointed four regional distribution managers covering the South, North, London, Midlands, and the South West regions to enhance support for brokers across the UK.
The appointed regional distribution managers are Victoria Ashman, Viral Patel, Mark O’Brien, and Julie O’Donovan.
In their new roles, they will oversee the sales and distribution strategy for Allianz Commercial, fostering long-term relationships with partner brokers and customers through regular engagement and tailored solutions.
Victoria Ashman, appointed as the regional distribution manager for the South region, has been with Allianz since 2010, previously serving as the regional operations manager before becoming a strategic account manager.
Viral Patel will manage the Midlands & South West region. He joined Allianz in 2005 and has held various leadership roles, most recently serving as the distribution manager for Engineering Construction & Power in the London & Real Estate markets.
Mark O’Brien, with over 12 years at Allianz, will manage the North region. He originally joined the company as a business developer before transitioning into the role of distribution manager in 2017.
Julie O’Donovan, overseeing the London region, brings extensive experience from Allianz Ireland, Allianz Australia Limited, and Allianz Insurance in London. Recently appointed London market manager, she will lead the Broker Development Manager team and will have overall responsibility for the Mid Market Distribution strategy within the London Region.
Mike Thomas, director of distribution for digital and mid-market at Allianz Commercial, expresses enthusiasm for the appointments, stating, “Whilst we have strong long-established relationships with our partner brokers, I’m sure that these relationships will develop further with the leadership from Victoria, Viral, Mark and Julie.”
