AmRisc Group appoints Molly Nickoles as Waypoint Wholesale CEO

AmRisc Group, the US catastrophe-focused managing general agent, has appointed Molly Nickoles as CEO of Waypoint Wholesale, the company’s wholesale brand.

Nickoles previously served as the chief underwriting officer for the Builders Risk product.

Based in Birmingham, she started her career as a senior underwriter with AmRisc Group in 2003.

“Molly embodies our core values of innovation, leadership, integrity, excellence, and relationships. We are excited about the energy and expertise she will bring to serving our wholesale producers at Waypoint,” said Brian Reid, AmRisc Group CEO.

Laura Beckmann, President and Chief Operating Officer of AmRisc Group, also commented: “Molly has been with AmRisc for 18 years and has been an incredible asset to our company since the beginning. She has been instrumental in growing our Builders Risk product, and I have no doubt she will add a tremendous amount of value in her new role as Waypoint CEO.”

Billy Hammond will succeed Nickoles as Chief Underwriting Officer of Builders Risk for AmRisc Group.

Additionally, Marcus Kelley will lead as Division President of the now-combined Waypoint Technical Risks and National Specialty, and Thomas Bonnarigo will step into the role of AmRisc’s Chief Underwriting Officer of national accounts in 2022.
