Andrew Shaw joined MS Reinsurance, part of insurance group MS&AD and domiciled in Switzerland, as Head of Property – US & Canada.
Previously, he served as the Lead Underwriter at MS Reinsurance.
Shaw was the Lead Underwriter at MS Amlin prior to MS Reinsurance.
He served at Amlin Bermuda for over sixteen years in various underwriting roles, which included Senior Underwriter, Underwriter, Assistant Underwriter and Underwriting Assistant.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Property – US & Canada at MS Reinsurance!,” Shaw said.
In other related news, Maria V. Amelio was recently promoted to Head of US Casualty at MS Reinsurance.
Additionally, the firm also recently appointed Kate McDonald to the role of Chief Strategy Officer.
MS Reinsurance launched in September 2022, following a rebranding from MS Amlin AG.
