Re/insurance broker Aon has added Tim Aman to lead the US actuarial team within its Reinsurance Solutions business as an executive managing director.
He reports to Brian Alvers, Global Chief Actuary and head of Casualty Analytics.
Aman will be based in New York and focus primarily on building the team’s commercial client relationships by ensuring it has the capabilities to address portfolio-level modelling and emerging areas of risk
He brings over 30 years’ industry experience to the role having previously spent 15 years at Montpelier Group and Aspen Group.
Most recently Aman served as executive vice president of Ceded Re at Aspen, leading the group’s outwards reinsurance strategy.
He also served as Chief Risk Officer at Montpelier and Aspen and spent 10 years at Guy Carpenter as an actuary and a broker.
