Re/insurance broker Aon has appointed Richard Jones as Executive Chairman of its Reinsurance Solutions business in Asia, effective May 2019.
Jones most recently served as Chairman of Asia Pacific at Guy Carpenter, where he spent 31 years working across a variety of roles.
His new, Singapore-based role, will see him take responsibility for business development and supporting clients across the Asia region.
Jones will report to George Attard, Chief Executive Officer, Asia of Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions business.
“Richard is a respected leader in the industry and his insight, experience and counsel will enhance our capabilities in the region,” said Attard.
“His depth of understanding of the Asia reinsurance sector will assist our firm in delivering the exceptional level of service our clients demand.”
