Aon has appointed Sucheng Chang to be the new head of its Hong Kong office.
The firm made the announcement through a post on LinkedIn.
It is understood that Chang will be moving to his new role after thirteen years with Liberty Mutual Insurance, based in Singapore, where he held a number of roles, including his most recent as chief distribution officer for GRM East (Asia).
It said: “We’re delighted to welcome Sucheng Chang as our new Head of Aon Hong Kong.
“An experienced and growth-focused leader, Sucheng’s career spans across continents in key leadership positions in New York, Boston, Hong Kong and Singapore.
“Building on the team’s success, Sucheng will continue to drive greater synergy across our firm and deliver sustainable growth opportunities in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Region.”
According to his own LinkedIn profile, Chang has held various positions at Lehman Brothers, Carlisle & Company, PA Consulting Group, Pacific Solutions Group, and LECG.
He joined Liberty Mutual Insurance in July 2009 as part of its corporate development program.
Since then, he held positions as senior vice president and head of P&C insurance in Hong Kong, CEO of Liberty Insurance Singapore, head of P&C for Hong Kong and Singapore, and COO for the Asian market.
