Aon, the professional services and risk advisory company, has appointed Jason Warmbir, Petra Stojilova and Matt Danielak to its global cyber team as the business looks to further strengthen its cyber risk advisory capabilities.

The appointments form part of Aon’s continued focus on supporting clients as cyber threats become more advanced and increasingly connected to wider business operations.

Warmbir, Stojilova and Danielak bring extensive industry experience and will report to Brent Rieth, Aon’s global cyber leader.

Aon said the new hires will work across the company’s cyber capabilities within its Commercial Risk division, helping clients improve how they assess, quantify and manage cyber exposure.

The firm added that their combined expertise is expected to enhance the delivery of cyber advisory services and support organisations in making more informed risk decisions amid a rapidly shifting threat landscape.

“Cyber continues to be a top concern for clients, and the complexity of risk is only increasing,” added Rieth. “We have built differentiated capabilities that combine data, analytics and deep market expertise, and these appointments will advance how we deliver our advisory and solutions with clarity and consistency.”

According to Aon, cyber risk remains one of the most significant challenges facing businesses, as highlighted in the company’s Global Risk Management Survey. The firm noted that developments in artificial intelligence, alongside geopolitical uncertainty, are contributing to a rise in both the frequency and severity of cyber incidents.

Aon said its cyber offering combines broking, analytics and advisory expertise to help organisations take a more coordinated and forward-looking approach to cyber risk management, enabling clients to respond more effectively to increasingly connected and fast-moving threats.
