Global professional services firm Aon, has announced that Alok Mathur will be joining the firm as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Human Capital, effective February 19, 2024.
In the role, Mathur will be based out of Aon’s London office.
He will report to Mindy Simon, chief operating officer for Aon, and Lambros Lambrou, CEO of Human Capital for Aon.
In his new role as COO for Human Capital, Mathur will work closely with the Aon Business Services (ABS) leadership team, to develop strategies to better serve clients and scale innovation for the company’s Human Capital business.
Aon has also confirmed that the role will see him develop a high-level operating model and portfolio strategy inclusive of digital product enablement and product vision that ties to the overall global Aon and ABS strategic goals and direction to serve Human Capital leaders.

In addition, Aon also recently hired Bill Hooper to serve as chief operating officer of Risk Capital.
