Re/insurance broker Aon has announced the appointment of Rory Egan as International Head of Cyber Analytics for its Reinsurance Solutions unit, based in London.
He joins the company from Munich Re, where he has spent the previous five years.
Most recently, Egan worked as a Senior Underwriter for Munich Re’s Cyber Centre of Excellence.
His previous roles at the reinsurer included Senior Cyber Actuary and Cyber Consultant.
Prior to this he spent four years at AIG in London, first as a Corporate Actuary and then as an Insurance Risk Manager. And earlier in his career, Egan also spent five years with RACQ Insurance in Brisbance, Australia.
“I’m very grateful to my former colleagues at Munich Re for the time together and support over the last five years,” Egan said, commenting on his appointment.
He added: “Looking forward to supporting clients with analytical solutions to help facilitate profitable growth of their cyber portfolios, while reducing risk.”
