Insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has appointed Joe Peiser as Commercial Risk Leader for its North American division.
In this newly created position, Peiser will be responsible for driving Aon’s Commercial Risk strategies and growth agenda, while delivering innovative solutions that address the unmet needs of clients across North America.
Peiser brings over 30 years of experience within the insurance industry, predominantly with a broking focus.
He has held a number of senior roles, including most recently serving as Global Head of Broking at Aon’s hoped for acquisition target Willis Towers Watson (WTW).
At WTW, he was responsible for developing the broking strategy, across commercial risk and broking product lines and geographies to grow the business.
Peiser, previously worked at Brown & Brown Insurance as President and Profit Centre Leader, where he held the position for eight months.
He has also worked at The Wright Insurance Group as President for more than two years.
