Global insurance and reinsurance group Aon has appointed Adam Reed as Chief Commercial Officer for major, complex and enterprise clients for Commercial Risk in the UK, effective September 2026.
Reed will be based in London and will report to Rob Kemp, Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Risk at Aon, UK.
This appointment aligns with the broker’s goal to strengthen its UK Commercial Risk leadership team.
In his new role, Reed will drive growth with FTSE350 and private businesses, and work closely with Amy Froude, Chief Commercial Officer of Commercial Risk for the UK, and Dave Kennedy, along with other leaders across the country.
Most recently, he served at Howden as Managing Director of large and complex risks. Before this, Reed held senior roles at both Marsh and Willis Towers Watson, in which he led major account relationships.
Kemp commented on the appointment, “Adam will be joining Aon at a time when more large global businesses are looking to us to help them navigate the evolving risk management landscape, both across various product classes and in increasingly sophisticated scenarios.
“His experience and expertise in leading major client relationships will help take our services to new clients, as well as broadening our offering to current clients. I look forward to seeing the impact he makes.”
Reed’s appointment builds on that of Michelle Beverley as Chief Broking Officer, Amy Froude as Chief Commercial Officer, Lucy Gleeson as Head of Product and Facilities, and Chris Scott as Head of UK Global Risk Consulting.
