Jane Drummond has been announced as insurance and reinsurance broking group Aon’s new Global Chief Commercial Officer, taking over from Anne Corona, who was named CEO of North America for Aon earlier this year.
Effective January 1, 2027, Drummond will report to Andy Marcell, Deputy CEO and SEVP, Risk Capital and Human Capital, and join the Aon Executive Committee, based in Chicago.
She will lead the global broker’s go-to-market strategy, sales execution, and growth across Global Solution Lines, and also Aon’s Global Growth Committee, combining regional and solution line Chief Commercial Officers, along with leaders from Sales Enablement, Marketing and Bid / Proposal Management. Aon expects this committee to play a vital role in aligning commercial priorities across the company.
Drummond has more than 25 years of experience in the risk and insurance industry, with expertise across risk management, risk finance consulting, sales and marketing, having joined Aon in 2009.
She currently serves as Aon’s Chief Commercial Officer of the Asia Pacific region, working with sales leaders and country CEOs to drive new business, strengthen strategic client relationships, and enhance commercial excellence, explains Aon. She also has oversight of the firm’s Strategic Account Management team in Asia, and the Aon Global Client Network.
