Luca Tassarotti has been promoted to the role of Deputy CEO, Global Facultative in the broking groups Aon Reinsurance Solutions division.
Tassarotti had previous held a European facultative reinsurance focused position as the Deputy CEO of Facultative reinsurance for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region at Aon.
The company confirmed to us that Tassarotti will report into Andrew Laing, CEO of Global Facultative, in his new role.
After eight years as Deputy CEO of EMEA Facultative, Tassarotti has been selected to take a more global view on facultative reinsurance activity at Aon.
A spokesperson from the company told us, “Whilst in this role, Luca has made a tremendous contribution to the excellent results achieved in the region; we now look forward to him putting his talent and expertise to the service of our Global Facultative business.”
Tassarotti began his career working as a Managing Director at broking group Willis from the late 1990’s, before moving on to work at Aon from 2006.
He began his career at Aon as a Managing Director in the brokers Financial Services Group, before taking on the Deputy CEO of EMEA Facultative position in 2012.
