Aon UK Ltd has announced that Matt Kimber has been appointed new Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of the company, replacing current interim CRO John Nicholson.
Kimber, who joins Aon from broker Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), will become an Aon UK board member, and will report to Julie Page, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Aon UK Ltd.
Page, commented: “Matt brings great energy and experience to our Risk and Compliance team and we are delighted to have him on board.
“I would also like to thank John for the excellent job he has done as interim CRO and wish him well as he returns to his role as a non-executive director on the Aon UK Ltd board.”
Kimber spent the last five years with JLT as Group Head of Risk & Compliance, and brings over 20 years’ experience in developing risk aware cultures to Aon, including senior positions held at Marsh, HBOS, and Lloyds.
