Aon’s Roger Francis joins CFC as Cyber Claims Director

Specialist insurer CFC has announced the appointment of Roger Francis from re/insurance broker Aon as its new Cyber Claims Director.

CFCIn his new role, Francis will lead the firm’s cyber claims and incident response division, and will also take oversight of CFC’s cyber risk management services.

He brings 15 years of information security experience to the role, having previously helped businesses protect their organisational assets from cyber threats, as well as helping to develop global security governance programmes, and responding to headline cyber-attacks.

“Roger brings deep cyber security expertise and leadership to our robust in-house cyber claims and incident response team.”

He joins from Aon / Stroz Friedberg, where he was Head of EMEA Security Advisory, tasked with delivering proactive cyber risk solutions to insureds, helping clients to both quantify and manage cyber exposure.

Before Aon, Francis was the EMEA Strategic & Cyber Insurance Lead at Mandiant, and also served as Director of Professional Services at McAfee.
