Stefan Weda has joined insurance and reinsurance broker, WTW, from rival Aon as the new leader of the company’s Corporate Risk & Broking (CRB) operation for the Benelux countries.
Effective May 1st, Weda takes on responsibility for accelerating growth in the CRB markets across the region, and for leading the Benelux CRB business strategy and operational transformation.
Weda joins from broker Aon where he has held a range of senior leadership roles across a 23-year career with the firm. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer for Aon’s Commercial Risk, Health & Wealth business in the Netherlands.
Previously, he held the roles of Chief Broking Officer and Managing Director of Global Accounts.

Additionally, WTW has handed Weda the role of Head of CRB for WTW Netherlands. While Catherine Lesourd, current Head of CRB for WTW Luxembourg, adds the role of Head of CRB for WTW Belgium.
